It has been 40 years since our company developed carbon fiber “Tenax R”, a leading edge material which has increasingly expanded in value since its release. In recent years, the carbon fibers have been gaining popularity all over the world as they are valuable materials that can respond to global environmental issues such as power saving and less carbon emission.
Our specialty carbon fiber, “Tenax R”, has been accepted by various industries for its strength and lightweight characters (compared to iron, the fiber is ten times stronger yet only has a quarter of the weight). Tenax R has been used in the fields of aerospace, sports (used for golf clubs), and other general industries such as for wings of windmills at wind power stations, pressure containers, robots, vehicles, etc.
Carbon fiber is used as a carbon fiber reinforced composite material after being casted with various resin materials. Effectively using the splendid characters of the carbon fibers, our company, along with the Teijin Group, devote ourselves into developing carbon fiber reinforced composite material, which casting productivity become efficient and is highly recyclable.
With the hubs for research / production / marketing in Japan, Europe and the US, our company has established systems to efficiently respond to the needs of our customers, and to fulfill customers’ satisfaction. We endeavor to 1) promote the use of carbon fibers and 2) deal with / enhance the use of carbon fiber reinforced composite materials in a midstream business.
