  • Establish rules and adhere to them
  • Promote safety among all the workers by open and honest communication
  • Responsibility for individual safety and safety of others is the concern of all employees
  • "Safety = Work place improvements"--- think before you act. Be aware of risks, and point them out
  • Individual workplace safety is the priority of all employees, all problems and irregularities should be immediately reported
  • Careful attention to minor troubles prevents potentially serious accidents
  • Dependence and arrogance are obstacles to safety; learn from any trouble or accident
  • Example by leadership is the best training; all managers and supervisors should conduct their work with safety
